Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries
  • 12 tablespoons sweetener (honey or sugar)
  • 1 cup whole milk (or almond/oat/soy milk)
  • 1 shot of espresso (or about ⅓ cup strong brewed coffee)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Blend the fresh strawberries with the sweetener until smooth, and set aside.
  2. Brew your espresso or strong coffee.
  3. In a saucepan, heat the milk over low heat, whisking gently until frothy.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract once the milk is creamy.
  5. In a glass, add the strawberry puree, then pour the coffee over it.
  6. Gently pour the frothed milk over the top and garnish with a fresh strawberry or drizzle of honey, if desired.

Notes

For a dairy-free option, substitute regular milk with almond, oat, or soy milk. Feel free to experiment with different fruits like blueberries or raspberries.
