- 1 lb Chicken Tenders
- 1 cup Buttermilk (or plain yogurt with vinegar)
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs (or crushed gluten-free crackers)
- 2 tbsp Fresh herbs (parsley, thyme, black pepper)
- Salt, to taste
- Butter or olive oil, for cooking
Instructions
- Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine buttermilk, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Add chicken tenders, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (preferably overnight).
- Prepare the Coating: In a shallow dish, mix panko breadcrumbs with herbs and additional seasoning.
- Coat the Chicken: Remove each tender from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off, and dredge in the panko mixture.
- Cook the Chicken: Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook tenders for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve with Love: Drain on paper towels, garnish with fresh herbs, and enjoy!
Notes
For a gluten-free option, use crushed gluten-free crackers instead of panko. Serve with your choice of dip.
