Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Buttermilk (or plain yogurt with vinegar)
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs (or crushed gluten-free crackers)
  • 2 tbsp Fresh herbs (parsley, thyme, black pepper)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Butter or olive oil, for cooking

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine buttermilk, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Add chicken tenders, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (preferably overnight).
  2. Prepare the Coating: In a shallow dish, mix panko breadcrumbs with herbs and additional seasoning.
  3. Coat the Chicken: Remove each tender from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off, and dredge in the panko mixture.
  4. Cook the Chicken: Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook tenders for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
