A delightful fusion of moist banana bread and rich cookie dough, perfect for a comforting treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3–4 ripe bananas
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp milk (for cookie dough)
- Mini chocolate chips (for cookie dough)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a loaf pan by greasing or lining it with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Whisk well and set aside.
- Cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the mashed bananas until fully combined, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, being careful not to over-mix.
- Fold in your chocolate chips.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, butter, brown sugar, vanilla, and a touch of milk to make the cookie dough. Add mini chocolate chips.
- Pour half of the banana bread batter into the prepared loaf pan, drop spoonfuls of cookie dough over the batter, then cover with the remaining banana batter. Swirl slightly to create a marbled effect.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for about 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!
