  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Prepare the crust: Place the pie crust in your pie dish and crimp the edges.
  3. Prepare the filling: In a bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, eggs, sugar, heavy cream, vanilla, spices, and salt until smooth.
  4. Pour the filling into the crust evenly.
  5. Bake on the middle rack for 15 minutes; reduce temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue baking for 40-50 minutes until filling is set.
