Instructions
- Prep the vegetables: Dice the potatoes, chop the onion, slice the mushrooms, and mince the garlic.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil or butter. Add the diced potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes until they soften.
- Add the chopped onions and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula, and season with salt, pepper, and optional spices.
- Introduce the mushrooms and minced garlic, stirring together for another 5-7 minutes.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary; let everything cook together for another 5 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh herbs and serve immediately.
