- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cups crushed Oreos (about 10 cookies)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add in the egg and egg yolk, mixing well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt, then gradually incorporate into the wet mixture.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and crushed Oreos.
- Scoop about two tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets, leaving space for spreading.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are slightly golden and the centers look underbaked.
- Let cool on the baking pan before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For extra-chewy cookies, chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before baking.
