  • 1 cup bell peppers, chopped

  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for sautéing

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onions and bell peppers; sauté for 5 minutes until tender.
  2. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Cook until browned and drain any excess fat.
  3. Sprinkle in cumin, chili powder, and garlic powder; stir for 1 minute to release aromas.
  4. Stir in the cooked rice, mixing well. If dry, add a splash of beef broth.
  5. Add queso cheese and stir until melted, creating a creamy mixture.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as necessary.
