Instructions
- Brown the beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned, then drain excess grease.
- Add the diced onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms to the skillet and cook until tender.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Top the mixture with cheddar and provolone cheeses, cover, and cook until cheese is melted.
- Lightly butter the hamburger buns and toast them in a separate skillet until golden.
- Spoon the cheesy beef mixture onto the toasted buns and serve immediately.
Notes
For a spicier kick, consider adding diced jalapeños or a splash of hot sauce. You can substitute mozzarella or gouda for different flavors.
