- 1 pound fresh Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Trim and halve each Brussels sprout.
- Sauté the garlic in butter over medium heat until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Add the halved sprouts to the skillet and sauté until they start to get tender and a bit browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Prepare the cheese sauce by warming the heavy cream in a small saucepan, then stir in the shredded Gruyère and Parmesan until melted and creamy.
- Combine the sprouts and cheese sauce in a baking dish.
- Top with breadcrumbs, if desired.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is bubbling and golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
