Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups grated aged cheddar cheese
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 34 tablespoons cold water
  • Your choice of spices (fresh garlic, onion powder, dried herbs)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, cheese, salt, and spices.
  3. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in cold water, just enough to form a dough.
  5. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
  6. On a floured surface, roll out the dough to ¼-inch thick and cut into desired shapes.
  7. Transfer onto a lined baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.
  8. Let cool slightly before enjoying.
