Description

A delightful and comforting treat featuring fluffy dough, juicy apples, and a rich caramel sauce, perfect for family gatherings and cozy evenings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (or homemade dough)
  • 2 cups chopped Granny Smith or Honeycrisp apples
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Non-stick spray

Instructions

  1. If making dough from scratch, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Add warm water and knead until smooth. Allow to rise until doubled, or open biscuit dough and slice into quarters.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over low heat until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract.
  3. Peel and chop apples, then toss with cinnamon and nutmeg.
  4. Coat a bundt pan with non-stick spray. Layer biscuit pieces with apples and drizzle caramel sauce between layers.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Cool for a few minutes, invert onto a plate, drizzle additional caramel, and serve warm.

Notes

For added crunch, feel free to include chopped pecans or walnuts. Ensure not to overbake for a gooey center.
