- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (or homemade dough)
- 2 cups chopped Granny Smith or Honeycrisp apples
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- Non-stick spray
Instructions
- If making dough from scratch, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Add warm water and knead until smooth. Allow to rise until doubled, or open biscuit dough and slice into quarters.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over low heat until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Peel and chop apples, then toss with cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Coat a bundt pan with non-stick spray. Layer biscuit pieces with apples and drizzle caramel sauce between layers.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool for a few minutes, invert onto a plate, drizzle additional caramel, and serve warm.
Notes
For added crunch, feel free to include chopped pecans or walnuts. Ensure not to overbake for a gooey center.
