  • 1 box of butter pecan cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the melted butter and cake mix, mixing until fully combined.
  3. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, stirring until smooth.
  4. Stir in the chopped pecans until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  5. Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  7. Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
