Instructions

- Finely chop the basil and mince the garlic.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the tomatoes, basil, and garlic.
- Add olive oil and vinegar, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Toss everything together to ensure flavors meld.
- Let sit for about 15 minutes to allow flavors to develop.
- Lightly toast slices of bread until golden and crisp.
- Serve the dip on top of the toasted bread, using any leftover liquid as a dressing for salads.
