Description

A comforting, easy-to-make beer bread that combines savory flavors and a delightful texture.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour (or whole wheat)
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup beer of your choice
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and optional sugar.
  3. Pour in the beer and gently stir until the mixture forms a shaggy dough.
  4. Lightly grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan and transfer the dough into it, smoothing the top.
  5. Bake in the oven for 45-55 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
