- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup coffee or berry syrup
- 24 ladyfingers
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, halved
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
Instructions
- Prepare the berries: Rinse chosen berries and slice larger ones in half. Toss gently with sugar and set aside to macerate for about 15 minutes.
- Make the cream mixture: In a bowl, combine mascarpone, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla. Whip until soft peaks form.
- Layer the ladyfingers: Dip each ladyfinger quickly in coffee or berry syrup and arrange in a serving dish.
- Assemble the dessert: Layer half of the dipped ladyfingers, cream mixture, and macerated berries. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
- Chill and serve: Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
- Tip: Garnish with cocoa powder or grated chocolate before serving.
Notes
Use fresh, organic berries for the best flavor. Avoid soaking the ladyfingers too long to maintain their texture.
