Description

A delightful twist on the classic tiramisu, featuring layers of mascarpone and fresh summer berries.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup coffee or berry syrup
  • 24 ladyfingers
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, halved
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries

Instructions

  1. Prepare the berries: Rinse chosen berries and slice larger ones in half. Toss gently with sugar and set aside to macerate for about 15 minutes.
  2. Make the cream mixture: In a bowl, combine mascarpone, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla. Whip until soft peaks form.
  3. Layer the ladyfingers: Dip each ladyfinger quickly in coffee or berry syrup and arrange in a serving dish.
  4. Assemble the dessert: Layer half of the dipped ladyfingers, cream mixture, and macerated berries. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
  5. Chill and serve: Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
  6. Tip: Garnish with cocoa powder or grated chocolate before serving.

Notes

Use fresh, organic berries for the best flavor. Avoid soaking the ladyfingers too long to maintain their texture.
