  • 1 teaspoon White Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 cup Mixed Berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 250°F (120°C).
  2. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper, drawing a circle about 8 inches wide.
  3. Whip the egg whites in a clean bowl until soft peaks form.
  4. Add sugar gradually, one tablespoon at a time, continuing to beat until stiff peaks form.
  5. Incorporate the vinegar and cornstarch, folding gently until combined.
  6. Shape the meringue within the drawn circle, creating a slight well in the center.
  7. Bake for 1 hour; turn off the oven and let it cool inside.
  8. Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form and pile it in the center of the meringue.
  9. Top with mixed berries and optionally drizzle with honey or berry coulis.

Notes

Serve immediately after assembling to prevent the meringue from becoming soggy. Pair with Prosecco or herbal tea.
