Description

A nostalgic and flavorful beef and broccoli ramen stir fry that brings families together with comfort and warmth.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak or sirloin, sliced against the grain
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 8 oz ramen noodles
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • Optional: sesame seeds or green onions for garnish
  • Optional: red pepper flakes or sriracha for heat

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients: Slice beef, chop broccoli, and mince garlic and ginger.
  2. Marinate the beef: Mix soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch in a bowl. Toss in beef and marinate for 15-30 minutes.
  3. Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  4. In a large skillet or wok, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat. Sear marinated beef for about 2 minutes, then stir-fry until fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add more oil if needed, and stir-fry broccoli for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  6. Return beef to skillet, add ramen noodles, and pour in remaining marinade. Toss to combine.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds or green onions if desired.

Notes

Ensure not to overcrowd the pan while cooking to achieve a nice sear on the beef.
