Description

Delicious and easy-to-make Air Fryer Mushrooms, perfect as a side dish or appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb button or cremini mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme or parsley (or 1 tsp dried herbs)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Clean the mushrooms gently with a damp cloth; avoid soaking them in water.
  2. Trim the stems if necessary.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cleaned mushrooms with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and herbs. Toss well to coat.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for a few minutes.
  5. Place the mushrooms in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  6. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  7. Check for doneness; mushrooms should be golden brown and tender. For extra crunch, cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  8. Remove and let cool slightly before serving. Drizzle with fresh lemon juice if desired.

Notes

Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket for even cooking. Fresh mushrooms provide the best flavor.
