Description
Delicious and easy-to-make Air Fryer Mushrooms, perfect as a side dish or appetizer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb button or cremini mushrooms
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh thyme or parsley (or 1 tsp dried herbs)
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Clean the mushrooms gently with a damp cloth; avoid soaking them in water.
- Trim the stems if necessary.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cleaned mushrooms with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and herbs. Toss well to coat.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for a few minutes.
- Place the mushrooms in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Check for doneness; mushrooms should be golden brown and tender. For extra crunch, cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Remove and let cool slightly before serving. Drizzle with fresh lemon juice if desired.
Notes
Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket for even cooking. Fresh mushrooms provide the best flavor.
