Ingredients

- 1 lb fresh mushrooms (button, cremini, shiitake, or portobello)
- 2 tbsp olive oil (or avocado oil)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (thyme, rosemary, or cayenne pepper) for seasoning
Instructions
- Clean the mushrooms gently with a damp cloth.
- Slice the mushrooms into halves or quarters and toss with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and herbs in a mixing bowl.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.
- Place the seasoned mushrooms in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Check for doneness; if they need more time, add another minute or two.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and enjoy warm, possibly with a dipping sauce or fresh herbs.
Notes
Ensure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket for even cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
