Description
A vibrant and refreshing fruit platter perfect for summer celebrations, featuring juicy strawberries, blueberries, honeydew, and more.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups Strawberries, hulled and halved
- 1 cup Blueberries
- 1 cup Raspberries
- 1 cup Honeydew melon, cubed
- 1 cup Cantaloupe, cubed
- 2 Kiwi, peeled and sliced
- Shredded Coconut (optional, for garnish)
- Fresh Mint Leaves (for garnish)
- Lime Juice (for drizzling, optional)
Instructions
- Start by washing all your fruits thoroughly. Pat them down with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
- Hull and halve the strawberries, cube the honeydew and cantaloupe, peel and slice the kiwis, and ensure the blueberries and raspberries are at the ready.
- Use a large wooden board or decorative platter. Begin by placing your largest fruits—the honeydew and cantaloupe—on one side. Layer on the strawberries next, followed by a sprinkle of blueberries and raspberries to fill any gaps, allowing the colors to attractively overlap.
- Sprinkle shredded coconut over the top for a tropical vibe. Drizzle lime juice lightly over the fruits to elevate the flavors. Garnish with fresh mint leaves for an aromatic touch.
- If possible, let the platter chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld beautifully.
- Serve your 4th of July Fruit Platter with pride, knowing you’ve created something beautiful and nourishing.
