High-protein, low-carb, and fluffy, this Protein Bread (Egg White Bread) is perfect for weight loss, meal prep, and healthy breakfasts.
Ingredients
8 large egg whites (room temperature)
2 tablespoons whey or egg white protein powder
2 tablespoons cottage cheese or Greek yogurt
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/4 teaspoon salt
Optional: 1 teaspoon garlic powder, dried herbs, or chia seeds
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
2. Whip egg whites with cream of tartar to stiff peaks, 5–7 minutes.
3. Fold in protein powder, cottage cheese, salt, and optional herbs or seeds.
4. Pour into prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
5. Bake 30–35 minutes until golden and firm.
6. Cool completely before slicing for best texture.
Notes
Store in airtight container for 1–2 days at room temperature.
Refrigerate for up to 5 days or freeze slices for 2 months.
