Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- ¾ cup pure maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then mix in maple syrup until smooth.
- Fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Pour into the baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes, then glaze with a mixture of powdered sugar and maple syrup before slicing.
Notes
Allow bars to cool completely before glazing to prevent the glaze from soaking in. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
