Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • ¾ cup pure maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in maple syrup until smooth.
  5. Fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Pour into the baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool for 10 minutes, then glaze with a mixture of powdered sugar and maple syrup before slicing.

Notes
