Description

Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup hot fudge sauce

1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)


Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.

2. In a bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.

3. In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until well combined.

4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.

5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.

6. Fold in the hot fudge sauce and chocolate chips if using.

7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.

8. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

9. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

Don’t overmix the batter—keep it light for the best texture.
