These homemade dog treats are a safe and healthy alternative to sourdough bread. Made with oat flour, pumpkin, and rice, they’re free of yeast, salt, and sugar—perfect for pups with sensitive stomachs.
Ingredients
1 cup oat flour
1/2 cup pumpkin purée (unsweetened)
1/2 cup cooked rice
1 egg
1 tbsp coconut oil
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, mix oat flour, pumpkin purée, and rice until combined.
3. Add the egg and coconut oil; mix into a firm dough.
4. Roll out and cut into dog-biscuit shapes.
5. Bake for 20–25 minutes until firm and golden brown.
6. Cool completely before serving.
